GOOGLE CLOUD
Google Cloud video
Google Cloud was making a significant multi-million dollar investment to lay a new subsea cable called Topaz, which was the first-ever fibre cable to connect Canada and Japan.
Three videos were created to highlight:
-
the economic and social benefits this technology will create in both markets
-
the infrastructure investment Google Cloud continues to make globally to improve connectivity, speed and latency, and provide a better cloud for everyone
-
the benefits of Google Cloud to C-suite decision-makers
The approach for the videos was to humanise the story by incorporating the connection the local people in each location have to the water and the land, while ensuring the key facts were also communicated. One video was created from the Japanese perspective, one from the Canadian, and the third video combined the two stories (shown here).
